The last few days I have been looking at GStreamer as a method of rapid prototyping
new DATV systems. There is a lot in it for video / audio streaming. It is the GNURadio
of the multimedia world. Unfortunately while a lot of companies have built real buisnesses
around it there appear to be some deficiencies when it comes to DVB broadcasting.
It would be nice if I could find a like minded group of people to remedy these deficiencies.
I am at the wrong end of the learning curve at the moment to be much help but I plan to
try and write some GStreamer objects (initially a sink for DATV-Express). Currently I
use UDP to communicate between my GStreamer pipeline and the DATV-Express board.
